Day 01: Arrival in Addis Ababa and city tour of the capital.
Day 02: Morning flight to Bahirdar to visit the monasteries on Lake Tana and Blue Nile falls.
Day 03: Drive north to Gondar to visit the 17th C capital with its Castles and monastery.
Day 04: Day excursion to the Simien Mountains National Park where you will see some endemic
animals and the breathtaking landscape.
Day 05: Morning flight to Lalibela to visit the famous rock-hewn churches.
Day 06: Full day to visit the rock hewn churches in and around Lalibela.
Day 07: Morning flight to Axum to visit the archaeological sites with the Steleas and the church of
St. Mary Zion.
Day 08: Flight back to Addis and drive to the Rift Valley Lakes region at Lake Langano.
Day 09: Morning visit the Abijata and Shalla National park before you drive to Arbaminch.
Day 10: Morning visit the Nechsar National park or the Dorze village and afternoon boat trip on Lake Chamo to see the Crocodile market, Hippos and birdlife.
Day 11: Drive into the Omo Valley through Konso and attend the Thursday market at Key Afer.
Overnight in Jinka.
Day 12: Day excursion to the Mago National park and the Mursi village. Late afternoon visit the
South Omo research center in Jinka.
Day 13: Drive to Turmi through the weekly (Saturday/Tuesday) market at Dimeka. Late afternoon
try to attend the Bull-Jumping ceremony.
Day 14: Drive to the Rift Valley Lakes region through Erbore village and Konso. Overnight in the lake side town of Hawassa.
Day 15: Morning attend the daily fish market on the shores of Lake Hawassa before you drive back to Addis through the Abijata and Shalla National park where you will see the Ostriches and flamingoes. Evening departure back home.
