Omo valley with its rich culture and the tribes, some rare animals and birds plus birding in the Rift Valley Lakes mainly the Flamingoes at Abijata.

Day 01:     Arrival in Addis Ababa, city tour of the capital.

Day 02:     Drive south to Arbaminch through the 12th C Stelea field at Tiya and Hossana.

Day 03:     Morning excursion to the Nechsar National park or Dorze village and afternoon boat trip on Lake Chamo to see the Hippos, birds and Crocodile market.

Day 04:     Drive into the Omo Valley through Konso and attend the Thursday market at Key Afer.
Overnight in Jinka.

Day 05:     Day excursion to the Mago National park and the Mursi village. Late afternoon visit the
South Omo research center in Jinka.

Day 06:     Drive to Turmi through the weekly (Saturday/Tuesday) market at Dimeka. Late afternoon
try to attend the Bull-Jumping ceremony.

Day 07:     Morning excursion to the Karo or Dasenech village on the Omo river and afternoon drive back to Konso.

Day 08:     Morning visit one of the Konso villages and the house of their King before you drive to the Rift Valley Lakes region. Overnight in the lake side town of Hawassa or Wondogenet.

Day 09:     Morning attend the daily fish market on the shores of Lake Hawassa before you drive back to Addis through the Abijata and Shalla National park where you will see the Ostriches and flamingoes. Evening departure back home.
