Lake Abbe in Djibouti with its volcanic chemneys, Volcanic formation and  Lake Assal (153m below sea level) and Laas Geel rock-paintings (5000-9000yrs old) in Somaliland.

Day 01:       Arrival in Djibouti and city tour. Hotel.

Day 02:       Drive to Lake Abbe to see the volcanic chimneys, hot springs and flamingoes.
Camping.

Day 03:       Morning hike to the lake to see the flamingoes, volcanic chimneys and hot springs. Drive back to Dikhil for lunch and continue your drive to Tadjourah port through the colorful salt lake of Lake Assal. Hotel.

Day 04:       Morning visit Djibouti’s 12th C capital on the Red Sea before you drive to Djibouti city with stops around Lake Assal to see volcanic formations and ‘New Rift’.

Day 05:       Morning city tour of Djibouti city before you transfer to the airport for your short
flight to Hargeisa, capital city of Somaliland. Hotel.

Day 06:       Morning visit the camel market before you drive to the famous rock paintings at Laas Geel. Have picnic lunch before you drive to the port of Berbera. Hotel on the sea.

Day 07:       Morning short visit of Berbera before you drive back to Hargeisa. Late afternoon
flight back to Addis with connecting flights back to your home country or Ethiopian tours.
